Social Lodging places your dog in small, right-sized groups for day camp, matched by size, energy, and temperament... real dog-to-dog connection with a thoughtfully run day. VIP Lodging is solo play or groups of 2 to 3, built for dogs who need more space, one-on-one attention, or a slower pace. Your dog's Individual Screening tells us which track fits best.

Every lodging stay includes day camp: morning play, a midday nap, afternoon play, with a few treats along the way. Sanitized toys and activity equipment are provided, so you don’t need to bring anything for day camp itself.

We use treats as part of routine care, enrichment, and handling, and ingredients can vary, so we can't guarantee a complete ingredient list for every treat we use. If your dog has food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know and provide an adequate supply of safe treats for us to use during their stay.

Dogs get scheduled breaks throughout the day: first thing in the morning, on the way to day camp, at the end of day camp, before and after nap, after evening feeding, and before lights out. Cats use their own litter box on their own schedule.

That’s exactly what the pre-stay screening is for. We assess your dog’s personality before they join a playgroup, run several separate playgroups within day camp, and every dog has its own private cabin to retreat to. Cats have their own condo in a separate room.

Every dog needs a $25 Individual Screening (a full day of camp with a one-on-one assessment) before their first stay... it's how we recommend Social or VIP Lodging for your dog. Dogs need current Rabies, Distemper, Lepto, and Bordetella vaccines before screening. Cats need Rabies and Distemper only, with no screening required, so same-day cat reservations are fine. 

Cancellation and rescheduling are treated the same. Fees are based on the price of the scheduled service or reservation:

• Less than 24 hours: 100% non-refundable
• 24–72 hours: 50% non-refundable
• More than 72 hours but less than 5 days: 15% non-refundable
• 5 or more days: No additional cancellation fee

Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier. First-time screening visits take about 15 minutes of questions with staff before drop-off. Paperwork takes about 10 minutes: a one-time form for day camp, updated each visit for lodging.

Boarding with Social Day Camp:

• $44/night for one dog
• $74/night for two dogs
• $101/night for three dogs

Boarding with VIP Day Camp:

• $58/night for one dog 
• $88/night for two dogs 
• $115/night for three dogs 

Cat Boarding:

• $25/night for one cat
• $37/night for two cats
• $49/night for three cats

A 15% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a Lodging stay, with the remaining balance due at check-in. The deposit is applied toward your total, not an extra charge.

Saturday Lodging Drop-Off: before 12:00 PM. Sunday Lodging Pick-Up: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, by appointment — call (906) 723-0253 when you arrive and we'll bring your pet out to you.

Yes. Mighty Pet has carried business insurance since 2009. Every lodge staff member and camp counselor completes our internal Pet Care Technician training and must pass with an 80% score or better.
