Dog walking is a shorter, scheduled visit focused on a potty break and exercise, usually while you’re at work during the day. Pet sitting is a more flexible in-home visit that can include feeding, medication, playtime, and company for your pet while you’re away longer, like on vacation.
Yes. Every member of our pet sitting and dog walking team is background-checked, so you can feel confident having them in your home and with your pet.
You can request a visit through our website or by calling the store directly. We’ll walk you through scheduling and any details specific to your pet’s routine.
Our day camp follows an enrichment philosophy, not free-for-all play. Dogs are grouped by personality and rotate between supervised play and rest, so they go home tired in a good way instead of overstimulated.

Outside these windows, our team is busy running activities, feeding, and caring for the animals in our custody, so sticking to your scheduled time really helps us.
Yes. Every dog goes through an assessment first, so our team can understand their temperament and match them with the right playgroup before their first full day.
Cancellations and rescheduling are treated the same, based on the price of the scheduled service: less than 24 hours’ notice is 100% non-refundable, 24–72 hours is 50% non-refundable, more than 72 hours but less than 5 days is 15% non-refundable, and 5 or more days’ notice has no additional fee. Deposits are applied toward your final bill, not an extra charge — but they stay non-refundable even when no additional cancellation fee applies. We know plans change and emergencies happen; we just ask for as much notice as you can give, since our staffing is built around the dogs we have scheduled.
Local emergency veterinary care is extremely limited, so if your pet has an urgent or emergency medical situation, we’ll first try to reach you, then the emergency contact on your account. Please make sure your emergency contact knows they’re listed, is reasonably reachable while your pet is with us, and can make decisions and arrange transport if needed. We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to transport your pet ourselves or that your regular vet will be available after hours, so it’s worth knowing your vet’s after-hours procedures before your pet’s stay. If we’re able to arrange veterinary care or transportation, you’re responsible for those costs.
No. It’s based on how your dog does specifically in Mighty Pet’s environment — our routines, handling, and social structure — not how they behave at home or anywhere else. It isn’t a judgment, and it can change over time as your dog’s needs change. If we think a different level of care fits better, we’ll talk with you about it.
Starting September 8, 2026, all reservations go through our new app powered by TimeToPet. Create your account, add your pet’s info, and upload current vaccine records — your reservation stays pending until we confirm availability and that vaccines are current. Through the app you can also request reservations, pay online, and get pictures and video updates during your pet’s stay.

At Mighty Pet we understand pet’s needs; we know that being introduced into new surroundings, no matter how fun, carries with it a certain amount of excitement and stress. Here are some things you can do to help make your pets stay as easy and carefree as possible. Think about it as packing for a trip or child care.
Food: Understanding pet nutrition, you know that changing the food your pet eats is not a simple or casual event, especially when introduced into new surroundings. When you pack, we ask that you prepare their regular food in quart size plastic zip bags, one measured portion in each bag for each feeding. For example: if the stay is for 5 nights and we are feeding twice a day, then you would bring 12, pre-portioned quart size zip bags. One for the evening feeding upon arrival, two per day during their stay, and one for the morning feeding before pick-up.
Please bring the pre-portioned bags of food and treats in a separate bag from blankets or toys.
Treats: Typically, your pet will get some treats during the day as a reward for bathroom breaks and possibly incentives during play time. Normally about 4 high quality camp provided treats per day. If you desire any additional treats, please provide a plastic zip bag marked “treats” and when you would like them provided. A filled treat toy can be purchased at registration as a calming chew exercise if this fits your dogs need.
Familiars: Your pet’s cabin will be provided with a complementary raised cot. If your pet has a special blanket that would make them more comfortable, please bring it folded in a separate bag. One blanket will be plenty. If it were to get soiled we will wash it for the next night. Please be aware that some wear or fading could occur. Also, you can bring along up to three safe toys they will not destroy in their cabin. Mighty Pet has new non-destructible toys for sale near the Registration Desk when you check-in.
Day Camp will be a rotation of play and rest. Play session in the morning, a midday nap, and afternoon session. They may get some treats as a reward or incentive during the day. Sanitized toys and activity equipment are provided. We do not think you need to provide anything for the day, but if you feel there is something you need to provide, please discuss that with us during your pre-stay assessment.
Dogs get routine bathroom opportunities. These will be scheduled first thing in the morning, after the first feeding on the way to Day Camp, at the end of Day Camp, before nap time, after nap time on way to afternoon Day Camp, after Day Camp, after evening feeding, and before lights out.
Cats may break at their own leisure in their own separate litter box.
It is our goal to accurately assess your pet’s personality and its needs during your pre-stay assessment.
We do have the capability of creating several different separate play groups within the Day Camp area and during the resting period, your pet will have its own personal cabin to retreat to.
Cats have their own condo in their own separate room as to not have to socialize with the likes of a dog.
Let us know about any medications when you make your reservation. Medications need to be pre-sorted into an AM/PM weekly pill organizer, with each dose in the right day and time slot, plus the original container with your pet’s name, the medication name, current dosage, and administration instructions. If your instructions differ from the label, we’ll need written direction from your vet. We may not be able to administer medication that isn’t properly sorted, labeled, or disclosed in advance.
Every dog needs a $25 Individual Screening before their first stay in Social or VIP Camp/Lodging — a one-on-one visit with our team, not a group day camp session. We watch how your dog greets new people and spaces, responds to other dogs, and handles the everyday sounds and activity of a camp environment, then recommend the track that fits best. New dogs complete this as a Meet & Greet Assessment; current Mighty Pet dogs are reevaluated at their next scheduled visit, no separate appointment needed. Once your dog’s screening is complete, you can book Day Camp or Lodging anytime. Cats don’t need a screening, so same-day cat reservations are fine.
Cats do not need to have an assessment completed so reservations can be made for the same day.
All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier when entering the facility.
If you are checking your pet in for a pre-stay assessment, you will need to be with them for 15 minutes to answer questions with the staff. Once you have answered all of the questions, you will leave your pet for day camp with the Camp Counselor.
Lodging and Day Camp participants will have paperwork to fill out for their stay with us. Day Camp paperwork will need to be filled out once before your pet’s first stay. Lodging paperwork will be updated each time your pet stays with us. Paperwork will take 10 minutes to do with the receptionist or camp counselor.
All dogs complete a one-on-one screening before their first Camp or Lodging stay, so we can get to know them individually rather than testing them in a group setting. We watch how they handle new people, spaces, other dogs, and everyday camp noise, then recommend Social or VIP Camp/Lodging based on what we see. Your dog’s designation isn’t a permanent label — it reflects how they do in Mighty Pet’s environment specifically, and it can change over time. Vaccinations must be current before screening: dogs need Rabies, Distemper, Lepto, and Bordetella; cats need Rabies and Distemper, and since no screening is required for cats, same-day reservations are fine for them.
We offer baths, full haircuts, bath and trim packages, nail trims, and teeth brushing for dogs. Every groom includes a complimentary nail trim and ear cleaning.
We offer nail trims for cats, but we don’t provide full grooming services for cats at this time.
Meghan Smith leads our training program. She’s a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) since 2018 and has been with Mighty Pet since 2017.
We use reinforcement-based training that teaches your dog what TO do, rather than just correcting what not to do.
It depends on your dog and your goals. Group classes are great for foundational manners and getting your dog comfortable around other dogs and people in a structured setting, while private lessons offer one-on-one attention for specific behavior challenges. Our team can help you decide which fits best.
We carry natural pet food with no artificial dyes and no China-sourced treats, and most of what we carry is US-made. If something doesn’t work out for your pet, we guarantee the exchange.
Mighty Pet has been serving the community since September 2009… that’s 17 years and counting.

For dogs whose needs go beyond what our Camp & Lodging environment can comfortably provide, often dogs with higher anxiety, we may recommend in-home care with one of our Nannies, or a private Day School package with our trainer to work through things in a more controlled setting. Our goal is always to match your dog with the place they’ll feel safest and do best.
